Flickering through our world
His spirit bears us witness
Initiating us to faith in him
Calling our desires to his wordHis eyes pierces our soul
Searching deep for repentance
He cleans with fire to emanate purity

He is not a man, he is immortal

He is everything, the supremacy of heaven and earth
An excellent spirit that knows no curse
He gives us his love without a price…

That was beautifully written. When you can picture in front of your mind what the words are saying then it has hit the mark. I’m not Christian. I don’t believe in God. I’m Buddhist. This power in the universe exists but some people call it by a different names. Some try to give it a name, such as “God”, and also a personality and sexual orientation. I believe man needs to think that there is something “out there” that actually cares about us because that is what we know we should do – care about others, in an emotion way. It is important for some to believe that this energy has the capacity for love, the capacity for hate and has the need to be worshipped. These are all man’s conceptions. But if that conception helps to bring understanding into your life about what the meaning of your life is, then who can say that is wrong. In any faith, if what you are taught causes you to be a good human then that is good. I have little tolerance for people who say, “God says…” and “God feels…” and “God wants…”, and “God told me…” while telling me that my faith is wrong and they are right. We need to respect each other.
I feel I’m getting a bit off topic here. These are all questions and musing I’ve had for many years as i look for the truth that makes sense to me. Two days ago I had a very good friend who died. This is where Christian and Buddhist teaching completely part ways. Who is right? We will never know in this lifetime. I have two blogs. My main one is called “My Name is Jamie. Life in Prison” at http://mynameisjamie.net. It has a very focused subject matter. Recently I began another blog called “Watch and Whirl” at http://watchandwhirl.wordpress.com so I can write about other things or reblog other posts. Last night I put up a post about someone I was very close to who passed away. Her Life. Her trials. What she was able to overcome. It is based on the Buddhist perspective of life and death, cause and effect, and the energy in the universe, if you would like to read it.

Greetings@1-read! your poem is awe inspiring. You sure do have a good insight of Yahweh, God Almighty, as well as, His love, His will and His purpose for all mankind. It is true that “He lives in us, and flows to reveal power.”
I prefer to add the preposition “in” to your first and second lines of the last stanza of your poem. Thus, instead of the methapors, which seems to suggest that the Creator of the heaven and the earth is the very nature which He created; I would use a prepositional phrase, that is, ‘in the air we breathe.’ For example,
He is in the air we breathe, the song we sing
He is in everything, the supremacy of heaven and earth
Finally, truly Yahweh, the most High God, is omnipresent….
May God the Father richly bless and keep you, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
