not looking at our patched robe of sin,
or our weary faith and doubting soul,
or the wickedness of our hands,
he chose to bear the course of our repentance
in the likeness of a man he came,
teaching love and purity to all age.
The sacrifice he made is incomparable,
liberating us from the score of death,
redeeming our souls and perfecting his word,
giving us the power of resurrection
bringing to live our dead faith and joy
lifting our burdens and bearing our pain.
For Christ died that we may have life,
enjoy the fullness of his never failing grace
and his strong edge of protection over us…
Happy Easter to my beautiful and wonderful readers… Much love…

bruised, a king he
still was. This cup
he endured so we can
be free of sin, not
because he couldn’t
defeat it, but because
his life was our cleanser,
his blood our salvation.
He paid it all. A sacrifice
too big that angels
brave and loving heart.
Today, marks the celebration
of death in life, a death that
conquered death and sin….
“He made a sacrifice for you,
what are you sacrificing for him?”
#TELL SOMEONE ABOUT JESUS TODAY
By Ruth Brodrick
O see ye the star that tells it all
Speaking through the rays with peace
Caressing the beauty of the holy night
Trashing the plots of the ancient king
In a manger, wrapped in hay and dunks
The child of heavens and earth lay
Clothed in skin yet beheld in spirit
Bow ye to Emmanuel; God with us
Blow the trumpets with enthusiastic tones
Play the harps to sooth the shouts of triumph
A baby is born to the world tonight and forever
A baby, a king, a saviour, JESUS...
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE
